Another safe place within the programs of Safe Places is a learning incubator in which college students engage in service learning opportunities and internships.
For students in colleges and universities
Students from all over the state and beyond have found internships and service learning opportunties that not only enhanced their college experience, but also positively affected their future career paths. From the hills of UA in Fayetteville to Arkansas Tech, the University of Central Arkansas, the Clinton School of Public Service, Philander Smith College, UALR and UAMS, college students walked through Safe Places and left with their lives more committed to rights for crime victims.
Each student left a little more engaged in the task of creating a world without violence.
